Dichroic mirrors
These mirrors are designed to separate two or more wavelength bands for transmission or reilection,by using multi-layer dielectric films.ln most applications, they reflect or extract particular wavelengths from the visible light spectrum.
Bandpass filter
Bandpass filters,as their name implies, only pass a specific range of wavelengths, thanks to the skillful application of multiple dielectric film layers. The width of the wavelength range allowed for transmission, as well as the ranges cut, can be customized. Bandpass mirrors that block specific wavelengths can be fabricated on request.
Beam splitters
Beam splitters divide a beam of light of specified wavelengths into two or more parts. The simplest form is a plate or cube. The transmission and reflection ratios can be customized, to achieve 50/50.40/60 or 30/70 splits, for example.
Laser mirrors
Laser mirrors depend on dielectric multi-layer films that reflect specified wavelengths of intense light. Mirrors capable of functioning in high-energy environments can be fabricated as desired. Wide-band reflection mirrors, dual-wavelength mirrors, and harmonic separators can all be custom-made.
Antireflection films
To improve transmittance, reflections from the surfaces of optical materials can be prevented or reduced by incorporating single-or multi-layer films in the design of such devices. Films with desirable polarization properties. as well as highly durable. heat-resistant coatings, can be created to customer specifications.
Metal films
Various metal films can be deposited on a range of materials. Reflection mirrors, electrodes, electrically conductive films. and many other products, depend on our sophisticated film coating technology for their advanced functionality. Metals that can be accurately deposited include Al (with or without protective coating, or reflection-enhancing film), Ag, Au, Be, Cu. Cr, ln. Mo, Ni, Pt. Pd. Rh, Ta, W, Inconel, and others.
ITO films (transparent conductive films)
ITO (lndium Tin Oxide) films, blended from oxides of indium and tin, are formed to allow a combination of visible light transmission and electrical conductivity. Applicalion: Transparent electrodes for liquid crystal displays, antistatic films, athermanous films, photoelectric devices, image pickup devices, and similar uses
ND filters
For ND filters, metals such as chrome, lnconel, or aluminum are applied to reduce light transmission by desired amounts. Such filters are optically neutral, so they reduce light intensity without altering color tone or contrast. Application: Light intensity adjustment for optical measuring instruments.
Coatings for quartz fiber end faces
Unheated coatings can be applied to plastic materials.
Plastic coatings
Unheated coatings can be applied to the end faces of quartz fibers.
Crystal coatings
Various crystals can be used as base material for coatings. Crystals used include quartz, rutile mono-crystal, GGG crystal, YAG rod, YLF rod, LiNbO3, BGO, KTP, PbMoO4,TeO2, CdTe crystal, spinel, and others.
