Corporate History

Apr.1986	The Vacuum Thin Film Laboratory was established as a division of Shin-Nippon Glass Co,. Ltd. a subsidiary of Asahi Breweries, Ltd.
Nov.1995	Asahi Beer Optics Co., Ltd, was founded.
Jan.1996	The trade rights pertaining to the Vacuum Thin Film Laboratory were transferred from Asahi Beer Packs Co,. Ltd. to Asahi Beer Optics Co. Ltd., which started the operation.
Apr.1996	The company was moved from the Asahi Breweries, Ltd. Tokyo Plant to Helwajima, to allow for business expansion.
Mar.1999	Two f900 ion plating machines were obtained.
Dec.2000	A f900 ion plating machine and a f1100 vacuum deposition machine were obtained.
Jul.2004	A f1300 vacuum deposition machine was replaced.
